France says Russia and NATO will have direct conflict until 2029

Now, in addition to the German secret services, French General Fabien Mandon, Chief of the General Staff of the French Armed Forces, also claims that Russia is preparing for a direct confrontation with NATO by 2029.

The Chief of the Army General Staff, Pierre Schill, shares the same opinion.

But is this prediction true, or are we facing an attempt to artificially create this conflict—for example, through a "false flag" event, such as an explosion in a port, which would later be attributed to Russia?

Similar statements emerge practically every month, mainly from France and Germany, warning of the possibility of a direct confrontation with Moscow.

Wars, as we know, generate millions in profits for various industries—not only for armies, but also for companies that produce weapons, drones, ships, and tanks.

This interest is also evident in recent measures taken by France:

The French defense budget proposal foresees an increase to 57.1 billion euros in 2026, a 13% increase, bringing military investment to 2.2% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), according to Armed Forces Minister Catherine Vautrin.

General Fabien said:

"The first objective I have given the Armed Forces is to be ready for a clash in three or four years. This clash can take hybrid forms, but it can also be more violent," Mandon explained before the Defense Committee of the French National Assembly.

The general, who assumed command of the Armed Forces on September 1, warned that Moscow "may be tempted to continue the war on the European continent," and that this hypothesis is "the determining factor" in French military preparedness.

The French general's statements coincide with a recent assessment by German intelligence services, which warned that Russia could be ready for "a direct confrontation with NATO" before 2029.
