Earthquake 7.4 struck Colombia


A 7.4‑magnitude earthquake struck Colombia this Monday (10) and caused destruction in several cities across the country. According to the latest reports from local authorities, 111 people have died. In Cali, 20 buildings collapsed and there are people trapped under the rubble. The death toll may rise.

The tremor was felt in the capital and in several Colombian cities, as well as in neighboring countries. The epicenter was in the state of Chocó, where there were deaths, injuries, and “significant destruction.” At least 20 buildings collapsed in Cali.
