Israel declares Gaza a "Danger Zone" and suspends Humanitarian Help

Israel, the genocidal Zionists, declared Gaza a "dangerous combat zone" on Friday (August 29). Thus, they suspended humanitarian pauses and an aid corridor for the population.

The decision comes after Israel announced its intention to fully occupy Gaza City and take control of it. To advance this plan, the Armed Forces will call up tens of thousands of reserve soldiers, who are expected to receive their mobilization orders as early as September 2.

The Israel Defense Forces say they continue to support the citizens of Gaza, but organizations like the United Nations, Israel's declaration of Gaza City as a "combat zone" and closure of the humanitarian corridor, have repeatedly denounced restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, as well as obstacles imposed by the Israeli regime to accessing such aid.

There are also reports of bombings and shootings against people awaiting humanitarian aid. Since early Friday morning, Israeli forces have killed at least 51 people in Gaza, according to local health authorities, cited by Al Jazeera. Seven of the victims were awaiting humanitarian aid.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, five more people have died of starvation in the Palestinian enclave in the last 24 hours alone, two of them children. The extreme food deprivation to which the population of the Gaza Strip is subjected (as officially recognized by the UN) has already killed at least 322 people, including 121 children.
