Learjet 60 crashes in Mar-a-Lago/ Florida

A LEARJET WITH NINE PEOPLE ON BOARD CRASHES IN FLORIDA, CAUSING AN EXPLOSION IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA.

A Learjet 60 executive jet crashed on Sunday in a residential area of Greenacres, Palm Beach County, Florida, and ended up engulfed in a massive fireball.

The FAA confirmed that nine people were on board. The plane had departed from Austin, Texas, bound for North Eleuthera, Bahamas. The impact occurred near the intersection of Military Trail and 10th Avenue North, close to homes and a busy road.

Air tracking data showed an extremely steep descent before the loss of signal. According to CNN, the plane lost approximately 8,230 meters of altitude in about a minute.

Released footage shows an explosion, a plume of black smoke, and a crater at the impact site. Emergency teams responded immediately, and authorities cordoned off several roads in the region.

So far, there is no official death toll, nor has it been confirmed whether there were any injuries on the ground. The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate the crash, with the NTSB leading the investigation.

The crash site is relatively close to Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump's residence, where the recent deployment of Avenger air defense systems was reported.

The crash site is about 14 kilometers from Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, where the U.S. military recently deployed Avenger air defense systems. There is no indication of any link between the two events, and the cause remains unknown. The priority now is to identify the victims, clarify what happened in the final minutes of the flight, and determine why the plane began such a steep descent.
