US attacks iranian Larak Island

American forces attacked the Iranian island of Larak tonight, August 30.

The bombing ends a one‑month truce without attacks on Iranian territory. The news is reported by CNN International and other American media. Two launch platforms are said to have been hit.

The island is located near the Strait of Hormuz, which is the epicenter of regional tensions and diplomatic efforts for peace. Troops were observed preparing to launch rockets with mines into the strait.

According to the Spanish news agency EuropaPress, at least two people were killed and another two were injured in this attack on Larak.

CNN International also reports that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated it will retaliate. It further reported that the attack resulted in the death and injury of “several of our fighters and compatriots.”

Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were observed preparing to launch rockets with naval mines into the strait, according to the U.S. official who spoke anonymously in order to disclose information about these sensitive military movements.

Iran retaliated and sent ballistic missiles and drones against American air bases in Jordan: “King Hussein” and “Al‑Azraq”.
