A news story about a UFO sighting in Montijo (near the Montijo Forum) circulated on social media today (December 30th).

The sighting occurred on December 29th (yesterday), and there were dozens of witnesses; there's even a photograph.
Vânia Rosário, the first internet user to share the photo on social media with an account, assures that it wasn't a drone because "it was very high up and enormous": She was the only one who photographed the object.:
“When I looked, I couldn’t make out the shape or what it was, but since it was large and far away, I zoomed in with my phone. I was amazed by its shape when I saw it in the photograph because it wasn’t even clear to the naked eye.” Vânia also added that “the sun reflected off it, and the object shone as if it were aluminum” and that “it was bigger than an airplane, without a doubt.”
Other witnesses report having seen the object but did not have time to photograph it because it disappeared after a few moments.

Unfortunately, in Portugal there is no credible UFO organization, only amateurs and virtual groups (Facebook users).
In most cases they ridicule the images, trying to explain that it is a balloon or drone.
