Iran attacked US military base in Qatar; explosions were seen in Doha
Iran's attack on the largest US base in the Middle East occurred after the "Midnight Hammer" military operation, conducted by the US air force last Saturday. In a statement, the country's armed forces said that "no attack on Iranian territory will go unanswered." An Iranian official told Reuters that retaliation for the US strikes would continue. The same source said the country was open to negotiations. US bases in Bahrain, Kuwait and Syria are on alert for possible attacks.
