British UFO hearings in Parliament

UK to Hold Public UFO Hearings Mirroring US Model

Britain is preparing to hold public hearings where military personnel will be able to disclose close encounters with unidentified flying objects (UFOs) — or unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) — without fear of reprisal or ridicule.

These US-style hearings will give whistleblowers from the RAF, Army, and Navy the opportunity to share experiences they were previously forbidden to reveal due to military non-disclosure agreements and the stigma often associated with reporting such incidents.

The initiative comes from the newly formed UK UFO Disclosure Group, spearheaded by documentary filmmaker Mark Christopher Lee. The group has secured a meeting with a minister from the House of Lords to begin setting up a formal forum where whistleblowers can safely present their testimonies and evidence.

As first reported by the Daily Star, the group has already sent a letter to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer calling for full UFO disclosure in the UK. In response, one of Starmer’s close associates has arranged a preliminary meeting between Mark and a government minister in the House of Lords. The goal is to lay the groundwork for a select committee that can officially hear evidence from individuals who have had direct UFO experiences.

Similar hearings in the US Congress have resulted in the release of previously classified documents detailing encounters between military personnel and unexplained aerial craft.

Mark Lee emphasised that it is vital for whistleblowers to be able to come forward without fear of public humiliation.

Speaking at a screening of his latest documentary The Rendlesham UFO – The British Roswell at the Raindance Film Festival, he said:

“One of Sir Keir Starmer’s associates is arranging a meeting with a government minister in the House of Lords — it’s a good start.
I’m hopeful we can set up a formal meeting with someone from Starmer’s government. Establishing a select committee is the first step.
We need to gather all the evidence, get people to testify under oath. That’s what we’re aiming for.
RAF pilots have privately approached me with accounts of aerial incidents, but they refuse to speak publicly out of fear of being mocked.
Just the other day, a Metropolitan Police officer told me about his own sighting, but he’s reluctant to come forward for the same reason. He wants it on the record but fears being ridiculed.
What we need is a secure, official platform that gives whistleblowers the confidence to speak out — just like we’re seeing in the US.
The United States is leading the way. Congress is actively engaged, and credible witnesses are testifying under oath. We want the same transparency here in the UK.”

Mark also revealed he has been informed that Prime Minister Starmer is receiving briefings on global UFO activity, and that King Charles III is advocating for disclosure — motivated by his own long-standing interest in the subject, shared by his late parents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

“I think the chances of real progress are high,” said Mark. “Sources tell me that Sir Keir is being briefed by American authorities on the subject of UFOs.
I’ve also heard from royal channels that the King is eager to be involved. He’s actively speaking with various individuals about this.
As the head of all faiths in the UK, it raises a profound question: how would the confirmation that we’re not alone impact Christianity, Judaism, and Islam?
Would it create an existential paradox? Whose god would it be?”

Mark’s previous documentary, The King of UFOs, presented evidence that the Royal Family has taken the UFO phenomenon seriously for decades. Prince Philip, for example, reportedly collected military reports and invited experts to private briefings. Notably, crop circle researcher Colin Andrews personally briefed both Prince Philip and then-Prince Charles on cases involving unexplained aerial activity.

Note: It remains to be seen whether the matter will be addressed with genuine seriousness or, as happened in the United States, with misinformation and dismissiveness — where former pilots and military personnel were ridiculed, and the majority of UAP sightings were attributed to mere atmospheric phenomena."
